Stirrup Fun Stables Rescue, Inc. is a nonprofit facility. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and nurture horses in need by providing hands on care. We rescue neglected, abandoned, abused, and malnourished horses who need a second chance. Every horse we rescue receives medical attention to address all immediate physical needs and ongoing veterinary and farrier care thereafter. It is our mission to foster the relationship between equine and human interaction as a healing force. Every child who rides at our rescue farm learns to patiently rehabilitate our horses while learning to ride.
Through the “work and ride” program, children from disadvantaged backgrounds have access to ride. In addition to horse rescue and rehabilitation, we outreach to the community through the ASPCA and the annual “Help a Horse” event. This event educates the local community about the strives and plight of Equine Rescue.
